About me
I am an artist come maker who is particularly intrigued by the found. I feel it is my aim to push the boundaries of everyday materials through the process of experimentation, in order to challenge preconceptions of traditional embroidery. Embroidery to me is the interconnection of materials in the broadest sense through the use of simple attachment, interlinking and manipulation techniques. It is the inclusion of materials such as metal washers, cable ties, cushion flooring, expandable foam, plastic wires plus the incorporation of processes and techniques inherited from other creative fields which allow me to approach embroidery much more freely.

We are all Explorers degree show: 2013Whilst initial drawings were initially developed in order to consider the concept of movement, the irregularity and spontaneity which stemmed from them were utilised as a way to form a tactile project based upon organic three dimension objects, suitable for public spaces such as galleries.
