Engaged with potential members as a champion for the club Key achievements: -Applied and successfully received grant funding for a project to get un-active woman' aged 11-25 into a sport. The third time I have applied for and won funding in my career (2 with Kent Union). -Orchestrated the most successful open day, with more members signing up than any other open day held at the club. -Orchestrated landmark open day sign-ups through B2B and B2C creative digital marketing campaigns via Google and Facebook and member engagement activities such as repositioning the club schedule towards a family environment and scheduling entertainment. -Launched a successful Barefoot Bowls event using online media and existing customer outreach strategy, which almost quadrupled the corporate and social business at The Club. Elected into this role by students in the annual leadership elections. My role was to represent over 19,000 students at Kent University in leading a charity organisation. My main role focused on volunteering, student development, cultural and religious societies, the radio station, the student newspaper and events. Key achievements: Running the campaign to get elected into this role, against 8 other candidates. (My campaign video got 2600 views on YouTube). Helped develop the strategy for the next three years of Kent Union. Created the ‘Thank You Jimmy Campaign’ that increased engagement and understanding within the student union. Successful in applying for three different grants over the year.
