During my time on a working holiday VISA in Australia I worked full time as a Photographic Retoucher at Cubed, a photographic studio in Melbourne. This sometimes required me to edit hundreds of images per day, as well as interpret briefs, liaise with clients, and organise digital image management systems. I mainly worked with fashion and product photography for both e-commerce and print campaigns.
Acting as a team leader in a digital design-based workshop. Helping students in my group to design and pitch an idea to industry leaders over a period of two weeks. Roles included critiquing projects and providing support, references and technical advice.
Working alongside a team of 3 to create exhibition graphics for clients such as the V&A, the British Museum, the National Trust, the British Library and many more. My roles include moodboarding through to artworking, communicating with clients, taking the projects to site and overseeing contractors.
Worked for large clients and renowned photographers in a small studio to retouch images to an extremely high standard, mainly in fashion photography.
I have been working as a contractor at Sony Computer Entertainment Europe's London Studio on-and-off since 2011. I have been asked to work on three separate occasions, my longest contract was just under a year. My roles here have included helping build assets to be seen in-game, as a runner on video sets, researching and moodboarding for the artists, creating mockup objects for programmers, arranging audio and video files for SingStar's music library, etc. All roles have required great time-management and communication skills. I normally worked directly with the Art Manager.
