I'm a recent graduate of Wimbledon College of Art, with a BA in Theatre Design. I'm passionate about costume and performance design - but especially about sets! I'm also a model maker and design assistant, able to draw technical plans with VectorWorks.

Projects

• Twelfth NightThese are costume designs for my Moorish inspired adaptation of Shakespeare’s Twelfth Night. The costumes are also heavily influenced by Indian culture – in style and fabric – all being very bold and colourful to reflect the personalities of the characters.
• Animal FarmCostumes designs for my speculative adaptation of ‘Animal Farm’. My designs were inspired by Russian Avant Guard theatre and based around the reimagining of workman’s overalls.
• Drawn‘Design Collaborations’? was a program of dance pieces created between designers from Wimbledon College of Art, and choreographers from London Contemporary Dance School. The pieces were created with the intention that ‘the dance cannot exist without the design and the design cannot exist with out the dance’. Our piece was entitled Drawn. Our main focus for Drawn was an interactive set, to create a dynamic space for the performers, as well as a costume design that aligns to create a pattern at key intervals during the choreography. The piece deals with the concepts of freedom and restraint through the medium of puppetry.
