Bathroom Manufacturers Association

  • The BMA are a trade body who represent the bathroom industry and provide an independent forum for trading in the UK. Upon joining the BMA I was responsible for designing and launching their new brand identity which including the redesign of the organisations website. Since the rebrand I have been working on the Bathroom Academy arm of the association which we are looking to rebrand and re-launch by the end of 2015. In my role I am responsible for marketing the BMA to encourage new members as well as managing all Graphic Design including literature and adverts for both trade and consumer press. Along with the marketing and design function at the BMA I am also in charge of organizing the annual Bathroom & Kitchen Business Conference which is the largest annual conference of its kind in the sector.

  • The UK division of Centerplate are specialists in venue and event catering at stadiums, arenas, museums, art galleries, visitor attractions and theatres. We have over 250 partner venues and provide event hospitality services to over 100 million guests annually. Annual turnover for Centerplate now exceeds $1billion. One aspect of my role at Centerplate is to assist the new business development manager through producing marketing material, and bid design. I am responsible for completing our initial expression of interest from here we get invited to tender stage and I work alongside my team to generate a comprehensive bid document. Since joining Centerplate in 2011 I have worked on bids for prestigious venues such as The RAF Museum, Warner Bros Studio tours and Sage Gateshead and Leeds Castle. I have also helped worked alongside our design team to create and maintain 18 new websites including our group website. My role is heavily marketing based and I am responsible for the generation of all company literature working with our graphic designer to create brochures, leaflets and other marketing materials. I also help to design, manage and maintain the group website and 17 client websites via the CMS system. This also involves extensive SEO work to improve Google Rankings of all our clients’ venues. My role has now developed further and I am also responsible for the Market Research and Strategic Planning of the entire group, this involves extensive research of our market and competition in order to produce a structured plan for the UK business to move forward and reach its target of £100m.
