    I spent 9 months on the Julian MacDonald womenswear range and then progressed to work on the ‘Occasionwear’ department. My responsibilities included; • Submitting business plans and forecasts, through WSSI management. • Assisting with markdown authorisation aligned to the company targets • Managing re-codes and reclassification as and when required • Providing post mortem analysis on all trading and promotional activity • Maintaining & updating key planning reports • Supporting and facilitating new ways of working • Managing intake and communicating with suppliers. • Liaise with other teams in the business such as online, DC and Finance. • Managing the allocator and training for them to progress into merchandising. I was also in charge of the AM meetings on the floor looking after the agenda, inviting guest speakers from other areas in the business and coordinating with heads of department to provide updates.
