Projects
- FOLD - a laundry app conceptCLIENT: Small business start-upCreate an identity, logo and app design for a new 24-hour laundry locker service. Ensure the identity reflects the simplicity and ease of the process. This must feel high end but simple and modern to reflect the nature of the business without resorting to the literal. The logo has its foundations in an origami swan. The swan, like our demographic projects an image of control; whilst furiously hard-working below the surface. Fold steps in to help them and keep their lives ruffle-free.
- Calivana Olive Oil PackagingCLIENT: Calivana Olive Grove Calivana is an organic olive oil traditionally produced from olives grown in the Parco Regionale della Vena del Gesso in the Emilia-Romagno region of Italy. The olive oil yield has steadily increased and bottles are now being exported to high-end delicatessens and department stores in the UK. I was asked to create a high-end packaging design along with a brand look and website. A natural reserve with a speleological interest combined with a boutique export destination became a marbled terrain texture with shots of bright punchy colours representing key infusions. The textured paper is also a nod to the tradition of Italian papersmiths.
- Byron Bay Food Festival - branding conceptCLIENT: Byron Bay Food Festival Design and create a distinct brand and product visualisation for the annual Byron Bay sea food festival.Marry the sensibilities of a ’foodie/fine dining’ clientele with the fun and easygoing attitude of the Byron Bay lifestyle. Consider life beyond the festival, explore the possibility of a cook book and other merchandise. Acrylic painted sea food montaged with 1950's Australian surfer photographs. A fresh contemporary colour palette was chosen to allow the more detailed design elements to standout.
- Miss You Book Campaign - Advertising Creative and Concept DevelopmentClient: Pan Macmillan Create a striking campaign creative for the outdoor, print and digital campaign for Miss You by Kate Eberlen. The creative needed bring the narrtive of the story to life whilst complimenting the book cover artwork. It needed to have a sense of an urban location without being specific, it needed to convey a contemporary love story with a nod to Sliding Doors, while avoiding anything romantically cliched.
