After seven years working as a fashion journalist in Portugal, I moved to London to do a MA at London College of Fashion. I believe in hard work and constantly strive to develop my skills. Most of all, I believe in doing the things you love. I’m passionate about writing and creating unique fashion images.
Judas is a new independent magazine that mixes fashion with social and political issues. It promotes activism and social awareness whilst being fun. I manage and edit content, besides writing and styling photo shoots.
I created and delivered a short course in which I taught people that didn’t have a Journalism background the tools to enable them to start writing about fashion. Research, planning and organizing skills were essential to develop the lesson plans.
Founded the online Life&Style section at 'Público', Portugal’s equivalent to 'The Guardian', where I was responsible for editing and writing the fashion content and managed all the social media. My responsibilities also included multimedia production and direction.
A 15 month Masters' degree where I am developing my writing, styling and art direction skills under the supervision of some of the best professionals in the UK.
A university that strives to be a direct route towards the job market where I had the chance to put my knowledge into practice through the experience achieved with Radio and TV journalism technics.
