Kitchen Assistant Worked along the chef in one of the finest Mauritian restaurants. I have always loved cooking and wanted to learn the secrets of fine gastronomy. For a month I worked with the chef and learned how there different recipes. My main tasks how the food preparation and then the plate displays, assuring that all plates were all neat, exactly the same and beautifully presented. During my time there I leaned to work as a team in an extremely stressful environment as we had to serve the Parliament every Tuesday. Making sure all the orders were correct and on the table at the same for all members of the parliament.
Interned for a month at the head office, each week I moved between the departments such as Finance, Compliance, Corporate Banking, International Banking and Private Banking.
Intern for a month in Durban South Africa. I spent most days with the Graphic Design team, working on power point presentations for the clients, study of different products and competitors on the market - ex. Explained to Unilever why Nivea had a stronger presence than Dove and how to progress. Accompanied the team in different client meetings and took part in the daily idea briefs.
