I am currently taking my final year (graduating in June 2017) at LCF in Cordwainers Fashion Accessories: Product Design and Development course. As a part of my degree I also did a placement year at Calvin Klein Accessories design department in Amsterdam. Whilst on placement, I have learnt a lot about working a stressful environment and being very organised. During my internship I was closely working with PU materials and leathers.

Managed and reorganised the accessories material, hardware and sample archives.
Supported the designers by creating digital tech packs (SRF’s) in Illustrator as well as hard copies for belts and small leather goods and soft accessories by collecting all necessary information including sketches, material, hardware and detail specifications from the design team and handing these over to the PD team
Prepared sketch overviews on boards by group/line, as well as digital line overviews and updated them during the design process and assisted designers in research and preparing presentations, created sketches and color ups for seasonal presentations and maintained the material, sketch, prototype and sample archives
