  • I worked in the delivery of creative projects with regards from brief to Post-production. This includes trailer, film clips, toolkits and interviews for film titles such as “Into the woods” and “Inside out” between many others. This was a multifaceted role and I had a variety of tasks that included Edit, video delivery in various formats, the pre-production and set up of shoots and budget management. In order to coordinate the production of projects within the schedule I liaised directly with all clients and also the creative teams (both internal and external), adapting myself to the circumstances of the project and expanding when necessary. Whilst in this position, I also got the opportunity to use my camera and editing skills especially when representing DMS in film premieres such as “Penguins of Madagascar”. I am not working at this position any longer

  • From the start of my time at Discovery Channel, my responsibilities quickly increased. I constantly got new challenges that pushed me to improve and thanks to that my time there, I am now equipped to handle various problems as they arise, even under time constraints without compromising on quality. During my final year with Discovery I was selected to be the protégé of my Mentor Patricia Wrobel, the Reversioning Producer manager. This gave me the opportunity to work in titles such us “Honey Boo Boo” and “Mythbusters” between many others. I also got the opportunity to lead “The Hands Up Project”. The aim of the project was to create a new perspective towards the work methodology within the company. I coordinated and motivated a group of people with a very successful result of few videos and presentations pitched to the VPs of Content Operations. This opportunity leaded me to what it would be my next step, being selected by Gaby Redfer, SVP Media Operations, to produce some internal videos. This project also gave me the opportunity to improve my presentation and pitching skills, as I frequently present these to an audience followed up with Q&A.
