I have 20 years of experience in UX-UI and product design field. In the past 5 years I have been leading and motivating teams, and personally contributing to the creation of integrated multi-device experiences. I bring skills from cognitive psychology and computer science in conjunction with a passion for UX and Human Centered Design, brand management and marketing sensibility to my teams and my projects. Designing and shaping an Artificial Intelligence platform for application within the healthcare sector. Babylon is an integrated digital healthcare ecosystem combining the latest advances in technology with modern medicine. It provides accessible and affordable GP and Specialist consultation, related diagnostics and health monitoring. In January 2016, Babylon has raised $25 million scoring largest Series A investment in European digital health to date.
Worked on the foundation of the new Ryanair ecosystem based on 105 million of passengers with 300,000 bookings a day, and more than 40 million of users per month across 31 countries. In 2014, the company was nominated brand of the year by The Drum. My mission was to redefine the user journey and design the new ecosystem on top of the latest mobile and wearable technologies.
Led the UX with 3 Agile Teams working on the Sportsbook app which saw amounts of €2.7 billion staked (+18%) in 2014. Paddy Power operates across a range of businesses and territories including in retail in Ireland and the UK and online in Ireland, UK, Australia and Italy. The company also have a games development team in Bulgaria. The Group in 2014 achieved record turnover of €7 billion. The Sportsbook app was #1 in the Apple Sports Category and #2 in the Overall Category. The Sportsbook app was awarded as ”Best Sports App
Led the UX as Subject Matter Expert working on the S-Health application and in its integration with third-party partners. Achieved No.1 ranking in sales revenue and market share in the mobile phone market, recording historical sales of more than 100 million units of the Galaxy S and Note series respectively, and 32.3% share of the global smartphone market with more than $202 billions in revenues.
Led the UX as Subject Matter Expert working on a Smartwatch design concepts based on a wearable version of Windows Mobile codenamed Windows Watch. Across 2013, the company achieved a double in sales with more than 38 million devices sold and $7.8 billion in revenue.
Headed the design and development departments composed of 3 multidisciplinary teams operating in according with the Lean and Agile methodologies. Part of the responsibilities were: Created the Mobile Department. Define the Mobile Vision, strategy, and roadmap. Define the agile process integrating UX design and research. Created the Mobile Department. Cut costs 62% in the first year by moving the organisation from waterfall to agile. Significant Achievements were: Increased annual profit 30% in the first year after 2 years of stagnant revenue. Held p&l accountability for EUR 1M mobile products. Increased portfolio by 120% in the first year and by 190% in the second year. Recruited 3 multidisciplinary teams of 10 each. Share design and business goals and iterate the vision with the team.
