About me
I’m Andrew Backhouse, a freelance web designer based in Harrogate, North Yorkshire that specialises in corporate identity. I create bespoke websites and creating unique and unified branding for business. At the heart of my practice is sustainable design from the ground up – at prices that won’t cost the earth. Utilising a combination of beautiful graphics, low maintenance and zero overhead vendors, I can build you a website that has stunning visual and user experience design as well as sustainability. I have worked with a range of clients from Swedish microphone companies to French sound recording firms, local drinking establishments to up and coming producers. I like to make good stuff and make stuff good.

I craved adventure and went out to East Asia to work instead fo study - I learned a lot more about visual communication as a result of leaving the dusty halls of academia.
