About me
Having already worked in the music industry, I am searching for a new and exciting role in events and marketing.
Over the last two years, I have worked in a few various roles including events coordination, marketing and office administration. These different roles and responsibilities have grown my skills and knowledge in different areas. My latest role was the Key Events Coordinator for Believe’s activation at BBC Introducing Live.
In order to coordinate the programming and all logistics for Believe’s room at BBC Introducing Live effectively, I had to communicate precisely and efficiently with key partners (B2B), office staff, artists, panellists and senior management. Believe entrusted me to manage the budget, purchases, invoice processes and on-site operation of the event, including working alongside production company Vision 9. Another part of this role was to communicate effectively with customers both prior to the event via email and onsite, whilst also managing Believe staff to ensure that any customer queries onsite were answered effectively. I also successfully delivered a UK exclusive of Björk’s ‘Notget' VR Installation for the event.
Prior to this role, I worked as an office/marketing assistant for Believe, working on artist campaigns, and specific market research for both label and product managers. Throughout this role, I have developed fundamental administration skills in diary management skills, travel bookings, and making business and conference calls.
Finally, I previously created and coordinated two versions of SouthBound Festival for Goldsmiths Student’s Union. This involved detailed organisation, creative marketing with external clients and managing the in-house ticket system to deliver tickets to customers on-site or at the festival site.
