About me
I introduced the concept of fantasy football to the UK and have been responsible for its growth into the mainstream and its place in the fabric of football.
Founding Fantasy League in 1991, I licensed the fantasy football format to BBC radio and subsequently to BBC2 for Skinner & Baddiel’s hit TV show. I created the UK’s first mass-market fantasy football game for The Daily Telegraph in 1994 which has set the template for fantasy football games ever since. I’ve steered and evolved a successful business through dramatic changes in the technology and media landscape over the last three decades, building games in a range of sports for partners such as the BBC, Sky Sports, The Sun and Barclays.
Now focused on my new venture, “Campfire” which is about bringing people together for conversations about what’s important in our work, our lives and our world. The vision is to build a community of shared experience and knowledge from the foundations of connected, stimulating conversations.
Within Campfire I'm working as a coach and mentor with clients seeking to build exceptional careers. I combine thirty years’ experience in building a business with an understanding of the importance of always remaining aligned to what’s important and what is uniquely ours.
