I am a digital designer who is passionate about user experience. I worked directly with brand managers for three years which allowed me to gain a greater appreciation of user-centered design through research and analytics. This has inspired me to leverage my understanding of the digital design process and pursue a career as a user experience designer. I’m a creative, enthusiastic problem solver with experience working on large digital projects. Prototypes are of particular interest to me, as are finding ways to maximise user experience while meeting client targets. Previously, I worked in retail and customer service, which has given me a firm foundation in coming up with customer-oriented solutions. My goal is to apply my previous experience as a digital designer, analytical thinking and problem solving skills to becoming a UX designer with a range of experiences across products and mediums.
Designing and building websites and apps for airlines in Africa and South America. Creating site maps and wireframes, building prototypes and working with developers to deliver fast, reliable products for our clients in developing countries with low network speeds. Created a prototype for a travel solutions app that landed two new clients.
Worked across a variety of projects for clients including weddingdates. ie., Blossom Consultancy, Project People and the Sadler’s Wells Theatre, strengthening my ability to manage projects from infancy to completion. Projects included infographics, display advertising, newsletters, HTML5 banners, presentations and print design.
As the sole designer in a large organisation I handled every aspect of the design process, working on multiple projects simultaneously. I also managed our website using a content management system and used Google Analytics and customer feedback to continuously make improvements.
