I'm a multi-talented mutant, working as design manager for product design agency for startups, morrama. At morrama we have developed a specialised design process to get ideas off the ground, however our focus is on building long-term partnerships where we can work throughout the design, development, testing and launch of products.
Before this, I worked for Makerversity, a pioneering community of emerging maker businesses, with campuses in the heart London and Amsterdam. Providing access to a range of studio, event and fabrication spaces and prototyping tools for creative businesses.
Not forgetting the prestigious D&AD. A particular highlight during my years at D&AD would be my role as New Blood Exhibition and Graduate Academy Events Manager. I can’t stress how much I enjoy working on New Blood; the growth and success of the event and outstanding level of the exhibitors involved is truly inspirational.
One of my other roles at D&AD included my responsibility for creative delivery across both professional and student programmes. Liaising between creative studios, stakeholders and maintaining the D&AD brand, whilst looking for new, innovative ways to create a colourful and engaging future for the company.
My passion projects help shape my diverse skill set. In my spare time, I design and curate the Cornish grass roots festival Leopallooza. Besides curating their Electronic “Treeline” Stage at Leopallooza, I also run my own surf/streetwear brand called Run With Scissors and DJ regularly. All allow me to fine tune my competence in the in events, branding, marketing across a variety of sectors.
