About me

I'm a portrait and lifestyle photographer based in London. I like to explore ideas of beauty, black culture and style, the body, dance/movement and an active lifestyle. I moved to London in 2007 after graduating with a degree in Photography from Blackpool & The Fylde College, to assist London’s best commercial and editorial photographers. Experienced in the studio and on location, I have worked in many of London’s best studios and shooting teams, as well as in high-end professional photo crews around the world. I have a broad experience of commissioned work including portraiture, lifestyle, events, and fashion. Clients include Dove, Wella, Absolut, British Red Cross, Oxfam, and VICE. I also get to occasionally share some of what I've learnt through workshops with young people and community groups around the UK. I am an enthusiastic dancer, practicing yogi and somatic explorer.

• Baby Bumps: Alicia & AnnetteI photographed two dear friends of mine during their first pregnancies. I don't know how they managed it but they both became pregnant at the same time! So we decided to get them both in the studio together to celebrate, after all we are our ancestors' wildest dreams.
• Warrior woman 3 X DoveDove joined forces with Natalie Lee, to bring a group of inspirational bloggers together for the Warrior Woman Project. Asked to bare all, I photographed these women in just their underwear (and in some instances a lot less!). No airbrushing, no editing, just unapologetic beauty confidence shining through.
