Howard Waites a scholar of language and literature, is invited by his friend Alistair Salt ( to visit him at his manor house, and to meet a friend of his: Poppy Davis . Alistair offers Howard the opportunity to attempt to translate a supposedly unreadable book. Howard gladly accepts with unforeseen consequences. This was the final project made for university
