Working at Carshop, I am responsible for content creation which is used on CarShop’s website and third party sites such as Autotrader UK. Evolving into the role, I have taking on further challenges that have put me in a stronger position for the overall merchandising of CarShop’s products. I am now also responsible for Imagery, this means I am often involved in photography as well as content writing. Other Responsibilities: • Ensure all vehicles are advertised in accordance with Carshop’s brand guidelines. • Improving customer response rates. • Actively seek opportunities to improve ways in which products are merchandised online. • Understanding and implementing engaging content and messaging. • Monitoring, tracking and evaluating advert performance across CarShop’s digital platforms.
This role was a very challenging and diverse role. Not only was I charged with managing sales, but also was charged management of business operations. The role demanded that I was very organised and that all paperwork and supplies were organised quickly and efficiently. This role also included aspects of customer service whilst dealing with customer enquires when organising sales and quotations, communication within the organisation was a key attribute towards this job. Whilst communicating with different suppliers of the business I have been able to build professional business etiquette and develop commercial awareness and business acumen. Other responsibilities included: • Sales operations with customers and business suppliers (B2B & B2C) • Company Invoicing • Account management • Updating Microsoft excel spread sheets • Social media updates • Stock management • Recruitment profiles and Job Descriptions
Responsible for managing content on the company website using the content management system, Magento. The Role also involved online implementation of online marketing strategies such as SEO and social media. Other Responsibilities included: • Developing online content • Website updates including maintenance and administration • Product descriptions • Google Analytics/ Monitoring website traffic • Product imagery, Photoshop and photography • Competitor Research • Email marketing (newsletters and offers)
