TextMaster

Jun 2015
  • Freelance
  • I have been delivering accurate, timely and stylistically accomplished translations of advertisements (mainly websites) from Italian and French into English for more than 2 years. I am particularly comfortable with fashion, culture and lifestyle material, but I also translate more technical texts, such as copyright agreements, privacy policies and CVs. My clients have included fashion brands such as Intimissimi, Carpisa and Yamamay.

2017

Creative Services Intern

The Hermitage Museum

Apr 2017 - Jul 2017
  • Saint Petersburg, Russia
  • Internship
  • I researched and created content for children's art workshops, and coordinated 20+ volunteers during events. I was responsible for the decoration of venues and the set-up and material provision for workshops, and assisted more senior colleagues in organising the everyday delivery of information and assistance to museum guests. I liaised with the Hermitage staff & volunteers, visitors, guest speakers and artists in order to maintain a high level of customer service and to assist the everyday organisation of the museum. I also translated museum publications from Russian into Italian and English. My favourite project involved translating from the Russian a series of conference papers from Hermitage researches that will be presented at the British Museum on occasion of the exhibition "Scythians: Warriors of Ancient Siberia."
