Sport b. is a franchise label of agnés b., offering French taste young casual wear, targeting Hong Kong and Southeast Asia Market.
I am responsible for the design development of a full seasonal womenswear collection, including woven, cut-&-sewn, denim and knitwear items.
Duties and achievements:
• Bring in double amount of knitwear items to the brand, for the flexibility on design and production (regarding to quantity)
• Keeping a steady growth (3% for Ete 2017) for Femme collection during retail market downturn in HK
• Work closely with the design manager; lead the entire design and sampling process from start to finish.
• Work closely with a small design team, including Homme, graphic designers and design assistant to develop each season’s collection
• Prepare mood and theme boards for each season
• Design research across all product categories, woven fabrics, denim, knitted yarns and trimmings; communicate with vendors and fabric selection
• Provide ideas for each season’s denim washing direction and give instructions to factories for making swatches
• Set the range plan
• Set the design and development schedule and make sure the whole process is on time
• Provide tech packs, line chart and size specs for all items in the collection
• Garment fitting
• Key look styling and shooting follow up for internal presentation and campaign
• Present the collection to local and overseas buyers in Mandarin/ English

Renowned work wear brand provides affordable suiting and smart casual clothes to young market in most Asia cities and East Europe.
For the beginning one and a half year, I am responsible for the embellishment design on sweaters, trims sourcing, designing a few essential knitwear items and helping to organize the yarn selection and quotation information.
In the succeeding time, my ability extends to designing woven items and style planning on a single category or a delivery of seasonal garments.
