About me
Anna is a multi-disciplinary creative, currently Art Director at Refinery29. Alongside this she balances personal creative work including photography, design and collage. In 2020 she founded Tourist Tees, a side project celebrating travel, colour, typography and the unity of Europe via the medium of sustainable t-shirts each dedicated to a different European city. With a background in photography after studying at the University of Plymouth, she has also freelanced at MACK, The Times, FT Weekend, Grazia, ELLE Collections, New Statesman and InStyle, among others, before working as the lead creative on The Debrief aged 22.   • Refinery29: Pretty RiskyCreation of custom hub & branding for Pretty Risky, a campaign led by Refinery29 Beauty Editor Jacqueline Kilikita to challenge the unregulated and dangerous industry of DIY beauty procedures. Artwork created with hand-cut and digital methods. Custom hub built in Wordpress.

The concept is to play with the idea of the tourist t-shirt, a souvenir of a place and Anna’s love for travel and merchandise design. The editions celebrate different cities through an evocative shade of colour, custom type designed by Montse Tanùs, and they serve as a momento of the unity of the EU. The t-shirts are all long sleeve, made from certified 100% organic cotton, GOT

  • I'm A Criminal CampaignI had the pleasure of meeting and photographing Diane Munday for Refinery29's I'm A Criminal campaign. Diane is an abortion rights campaigner who helped to get abortion legalised in Britain in 1967 & has joined forces with Refinery29uk to help change the law and make abortion a medical and not a criminal issue.
