  • Main accomplishments: • Delivering successfully a veterinary conference of 800+ delegates by bringing the project back on schedule within one month, four months prior to the event; achieving 123% of attendance target • Introducing an efficient, unified invoicing and filing system • Building and maintaining a strong and successful rapport with clients and sponsors by providing regular briefings and exceeding their expectations by showing initiative and introducing extra benefits Duties and levels of responsibility: • Conducting the full project management cycle from development to production and delivery • Researching and contracting of venues, hotels and suppliers • Fundraising and sponsorship development through research and sales pitch • Coordinating and delegating insurance, legal, health and safety obligations • Coordinating venue management, caterers, exhibition suppliers, contractors and equipment hire • Developing, budgeting, scheduling and delivering social programmes and entertainment, including suppliers and artists booking, obtaining relevant discounts and offers and tours management • Coordinating the development and delivery of scientific programmes, abstract management and speakers liaison • Budgeting and accounting for events, managing incoming and outgoing invoices • Carrying out on-line and off-line registration process • Working closely with web developers and graphic designers - designing and creating content for websites and print • Developing and delivering marketing and PR strategy, using social media, field publications, press and advertising • Coordinating staffing requirements and staff briefings • Post-event evaluation and reporting • Preparing bid documents and sales presentations • Organising and conducting site visits as well as on-line and off-line meetings or briefings with clients
