About me
⋅ Graduate in Fine Art BA Hons from Newcastle University, which is ranked first in the UK for Art & Design ⋅ Project management ability gained through coordinating multiple art exhibitions and large lifestyle events ⋅ Involvement with communication projects through developing content online and in print ⋅ Organised, with a drive to work to multiple deadlines and prioritise tasks ⋅ Confident and articulate, with a drive to delegate and complete duties in an efficient and effective manner ⋅ Critical and creative writing experience, through developing an original History of Art dissertation ⋅ Distinct eye for detail and creative mind-set, with relevant experience with luxury brands and products ⋅ Highly motivated and flexible, with an aptitude for problem solving in high-pressure environments ⋅ Adaptable and a quick learner, with a desire to expand on as many skills as possible ⋅ Team player who thrives from communicating and collaborating with others ⋅ Keen customer service focus, whether dealing with clients or external suppliers ⋅ Experienced in using a Mac, as well as digital software such as the Microsoft and Adobe Suite ⋅ Immediate availability due to relocation I have an extensive eye for detail and exhibited visionary skill through my Fine Art degree. I am accustomed to using digital software such as InDesign and Photoshop, as well as mood boards and maquettes to research or describe concepts to different departments, transforming an idea to a status of completion. Whilst exhibiting my personal work at various galleries across the UK and assisting with these marketing campaigns, I gained an insight into working on multiple projects with a restricted time frame and limited resources, and is an area where I see my strengths can be highlighted. I assisted with the management of several large lifestyle events, which experienced over 500 exhibitors and 40,000 visitors. During my time at Living North, I independently designed the events, from conceptual planning to applying final touches, ensuring customer experience was at the forefront of any decision. I accurately controlled a budget and liaised with a number of external suppliers whilst problem solving and thinking on my feet. I additionally adopted a “front of house” role where I demonstrated strong leadership, organisation and communication skills. Contributing to monthly magazine content, weekly e-letters and daily social posts has given me a greater understanding of cross-platform content. I was awarded these responsibilities because I exhibited an extensive knowledge of the target audience and company’s ethos, whilst demonstrating my creative flare. I am an intuitive, hardworking and ambitious “people person” who thrives from working in a fast-paced environment, finding great pleasure in managing and organising a diverse range of projects. I take direction well, but I am also able to use my initiative to think ahead and outside the box and prioritising my work during deadlines.
