About me
I am fascinated by story telling and how the stories we tell ourselves impact on the way we live. This fascination has lead me to work across many different mediums, always with the focus of how these stories can changes peoples lives. From producing for theatre I learned how powerful your message can be with a whole cast and crew tapped into a delivering an idea. From working at the BBC I learnt the practical skills of how to broadcast to a wider audience. From publishing I learnt how to distill the message of your story down to it's essence so a reader can begin to engage with what they want to read, and how to promote this in an eye catching way. Most recently working for a think thank has meant bringing people together to debate not just their own stories, but the narrative of a nation, finding common landmarks in this imagined landscape, and appreciating how the different stories people are told can create such different real and imagined worlds.
