These ranges include active living street inspired yoga wear, casual wear and performance sportswear. - Keeping up to date with current trends by going on twice yearly retail trips to Europe, the USA and Australia. Creating moodboards and colourboards. - Strong creative CAD and graphic skills. Create all Merchandising and range storyboards for range building and sales purposes. - Presenting ranges to our sales conference and to buying groups both in NZ and Australia. - Working daily with vendors in China and Taiwan. I have made several trips to Asia to work with vendors to ensure that sampling and production are on track. - Work to a matrix to create commercial and trend led sports and casual fashion ranges that are aimed at the Canterbury consumer. - Involved in the full sample development and production process, managing workloads and responding to general day to day queries from the garment technicians working on womens and kids ranges.
