About me

Anna started screenwriting 20 years ago for a BBC Radio 4 and BBC 2 (TV) satirical sketch show. Since then she has written shorts, features, web and TV series, and for the stage. She is currently developing a slate of VR projects. (www.movrshaker.com) As a Script Editor, Anna has worked with the BFI, international TV and Film producers and supported a diverse range of writing talent – from Nicholl Fellowship award-winning screenwriters to best-selling authors. In 2018-9 she was consultant on a Stand-Up show for the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, which went on to enjoy a National Tour and 2 runs at London’s Soho Theatre. Each year, Anna is Creative Director of a live event with audiences of over 800 people. She is also an award-winning Director who has worked with BAFTA and Oscar-winning talent as well as the National Youth Theatre.

• The Conversation 2015 - 2020An annual live event for the Helen Bamber Foundation hosted by Emma Thompson, with guest speakers including actor Colin Firth, artist Anish Kapoor, broadcaster James Naughtie and journalist Fergal Keane
• In Our Own Words - DetentionA short film for the Helen Bamber Foundation starring Adele Leonce. Voiced over by HBF clients - survivors of human trafficking and torture - who demand an end to the UK's policy of indefinite detention for asylum seekers.
