Working on the launch of Virgin Trains East Coast, following Virgins’ win of the well-known rail franchise. In September, Virgin Trains East Coast came together with Virgin Trains West Coast as ‘Virgin Trains’ master brand for a joint campaign that spanned all channels. Reporting into the Account Director, my role entailed managing the smooth day-to-day running of the account: • Managing a high-volume of Print and OOH projects from brief to supply • Developing integrated solutions for campaigns spanning Press, TV, Radio, OOH, Digital and Social • Briefing designers, creative teams, producers and technicians • Conducting reviews with the account’s creative director and senior management team • Presenting creative work to Client • Liaising with partner agencies specializing in media, digital and post-production • Managing finances, keeping an eye like a hawk for detail and a finger on the pulse of the market
A competitive 3 month internship turned into a full time role supporting the client service and community teams across different accounts (namely Benefit Cosmetics, Liz Earle and Microsoft). My role involved assisting the development and management of our clients’ social communications from creative ideation and copywriting to executing campaign strategy, across a changing landscape of digital platforms.
