Working as an Apparel Designer for Madison Cycling since early 2015, I’ve designed the women ranges for all road cycling, touring, racing, and mountain biking, that have to be specifically rugged, durable, aerodynamic, but above all, women specific. My most memorable piece up to now, is a women specific bib short, that make comfort breaks, easy. I get to design Graphics, work on colour themes, and working with a sewing machine, get a chance to make up toiles from flat paper patterns I’ve developed, to get the perfect fit and helps evolve pre-shaping. I’m involved from concept to final product, have close communications with the factories and getting involved with the making process.

Have a strong understanding of the product creation process, calendar awareness, fit and garment construction, materials, trims and embellishments, testing requirements, costing, margin and commercial awareness. Complete understanding of computer software including Adobe programs were crucial to perform the task well.
