I am an event and project manager with 5+ years experience in events. I have worked with clients from a range of sectors and organised events for 400+ people. My passion lies in making a client’s brief come to fruition. FRUKT is a global marketing agency which helps brands entertain people and make them happy. We’ve worked alongside some of the world’s boldest brands - including Coca-Cola, MasterCard, Sprint, O2, McDonald’s, Bank of America, Jägermeister and Budweiser - to leverage the universal passion that surrounds entertainment, creating award winning platforms, campaigns and experiences across 150 countries. I managed a range of key stakeholders, maintained project schedules and adapted to many last minute changes for an incentivised VIP hospitality trip to Ibiza for an FMCG client. Briefed internal and external teams and prepared weekly budget recons and status reports for the client. Oversaw the onsite execution of the trips in Ibiza, exhibiting strong hospitality and event management skills by ensuring guests’ safety and happiness was paramount and troubleshooting any issues and last minute changes.
I led the project management activity on a range of accounts for both the Spindle magazine and agency. I developed existing client relationships, managed a team of freelancers and generated and executed ideas for projects and campaigns. Additionally, my role spanned project management and studio management. I was also the Shoot Producer for Spindle's monthly 9 page spread for USC's Forever Sports magazine, the second most printed magazine in the UK (96,000 monthly print circulation). In Dec 2015, I produced USC’s Christmas campaign imagery along with a marketing promo video which appeared online and in all of USC’s 65 stores nationwide.
I worked on the full event cycle of Communicate magazine's awards and conferences from securing judges, researching suitable media partners to negotiating supplier costs and producing marketing plans.
Coordinated catering and backstage sponsorship for MBC's London Fashion Week shows and managed budgets for these. Dealt with all incoming queries and the operational logistics of products arriving on-site. Sourced potential venues for events, arranged site visits and produced event collateral. After my initial three month internship, I've been invited back by My Beautiful City numerous times to assist on further Fashion Weeks where I have progressed onto backstage management. Demonstrated superior customer service to VIPs and corporate clients in the hospitality suites of the O2 Arena at numerous high profile gigs and sporting events. Monitored health and safety hazards whilst troubleshooting any client issues and conflicts.
I event managed Spindle's stage at The Alternative Escape, the official series of showcases which takes place alongside the core festival programme at The Great Escape festival in Brighton. I was responsible for scheduling stage times, chasing tech specs and stage plans and liaising with booking agents, managers and PRs prior to the event. On the day, I managed the event whilst overseeing load ins, troubleshooting issues and ensuring musicians were on stage and at their interviews in a timely manner. Coordinated the organisation and promotion of 17 events over a 5 month period for Spindle’s weekly live music night, H.O.W.L, at House of Wolf. I sourced and booked acts, negotiated artiste fees and produced the production schedules. I event managed the nights whilst acting as artist liaison for musicians.
Negotiated gifting for Bearded Kitten's stages at major music festivals around the UK, including Secret Garden Party, RockNess and Lovebox. Worked on-site at the festivals and assisted the Bearded Kitten team with artist liaison, organisation, set design and construction of their stages. Stage managed the VIP party at RockNess festival.
Organised a networking reception attended by 70+ industry professionals prior to my university degree show at the Roundhouse. I invited guests, co-ordinated guest lists for the reception in addition to sourcing and liaising with a production company to curate visuals for the show which were seen by 1200+ people. For the show itself which was run in association with the music promoter, Eat Your Own Ears, I acted as Artist Liaison for the band Teleman. Prior to the show I liaised with their agent over riders, tech specs and release forms. Bands performing at the event included: East India Youth Teleman NZCA/Lines
As part of my university degree I sourced musicians for a gig at the Roundhouse. This role included negotiating payments, riders and contracts with musicians’ managers, drawing up stage plans and producing a production schedule. I also acted as Artist Liaison for the band FranKo.
