Whilst interning at Harper’s Bazaar with the Art and Pictures Team, I was lucky enough to gain experience working on ideas for their regular pages, researching and putting together layouts. One of my most gratifying tasks involved creating a coherent mood board depicting the inspiration behind a large fashion house’s latest collection and then laying out the final page which will be featured in the August 18 issue. Being one of the most influential and prominent publications in the world, the quality of work was incredibly important and so I had to ensure everything I created was visually stunning and fit within their house style. My time interning at Harper’s Bazaar gave me invaluable experience that I will be sure to continually utilise throughout my future career.
