About me

Ambitious French and Spanish graduate with strong operational, commercial and cultural awareness, research and communication skills. In my current role I have worked on a number of international oil & gas exhibitions, conferences and workshops. Currently open to challenging new event operations roles where I can broaden and develop further my event management skills within a dynamic and creative organisation.

  • Sole responsibility and accountability for organising conference and exhibition logistics prior to the event and onsite, in challenging cultures and countries. My key day to day duties include but are not limited to: • Client Relationships : Developing relationships with speakers, exhibitors, sponsors and ensuring regular communication throughout the event-planning process and onsite, whilst delivering an exceptional level of service at all times • Onsite Event delivery : Overseeing all aspects of the delegate experience of the event - coordinating production, delivery and setup of branded items, stage set and signage and troubleshooting problems • Supplier management : Sourcing, selecting and managing suppliers, and cost negotiation • Venue Management : Liaising with venues on set-up, timings, security, catering, DDRs, accommodation and assisting Venue Liaison Manager with venue research, proposals and contracts • Team management : Booking staff flights, coordinating staff expenses, setting team deadlines, leading and coordinate team onsite, liaising with other departments in the event planning stages • Financial: Budget management and ensuring cost-effective delivery ; budget reviews and closes; and handling invoices, costs and payments effectively • Speaker and conference room management : Managing the room and speakers to ensure the programme remains on schedule and speakers are well looked after • Creating signage, AV, staging plans and bringing them to fruition creatively and within budget • Coordinating event brochures : collecting accurate content and overseeing design • Managing event registration : booking staff, crowd control planning and registration desk design • Organising functions, including sponsored drinks receptions • Following protocol and making necessary arrangements for Ministry VIPs – Coordinating Opening Key Note Ministerial Sessions and Opening Ceremonies for Exhibitions • Updating event websites and conference programmes • Management and translation of dual language Spanish - English online exhibitor portal
