I currently work as marketing and press officer at SEP Jordan, a fashion accessories company, with an innovative social impact focus. I am responsible for the marketing and brand strategy at large, working closely with the CEO. I am the only employee working from London (the rest of the team is based in Switzerland, Italy and Jordan) and this expanded my flexibility skills, my proactive approach and how to manage a business in different locations. I have developed my networking and communication expertise at best, working on my own initiative and individually managing relationships with the main stakeholders. Furthermore, I have increased my creative skills, being considerably involved in the design phase. Main responsibilities: • Development of marketing, digital marketing and brand strategies to raise awareness and sales; • Definition of the communication plan, focusing on consistency between digital and off line media; • Management of the social media platform and substantial collaboration on the website contents; • Collaboration in the art direction activity (involvement in the creative process of particular collections, photo shooting campaign, promotional events planning); • General PR activity (events’ planning, liaison with the press/buyers/stylists; drafting of mailing list and press releases); • Networking with clients, suppliers, retailers and key contacts in the UK and Italian market.
• General management of the press contacts and the showroom: calling-in requests, daily selling-in activity and monitoring for clients’ opportunities; • General and promotional assistance to the designers; • Relationship building and networking with clients and the media; • Management of candidates’ interviews and internships process; • Responsible for the clients’ monthly reports process. • London Fashion Week and London Collection Men: planning, finalising and managing the guest lists; involved in the management of the fashion shows and presentations; general promotional activity related to the showroom and the clients.
