ARNA Artist Residency - The Windmill Project

ARNA

  • Selected Artist residency with housing and material grants. The Windmill Project was based around creating semi-permanent public sculptures for a community space. In conversation with local residents and active community members who had spent last years renovating a local windmill to serve as a community space, I created a sculptural piece that reflects the area history and current community.

  • Plinth Prize was awarded to commission a site specific work for the plinth which is usually the home of Chelsea’s Henry Moore sculpture, then on loan to Yorkshire Sculpture Park.
