  • Working as part of the Communications team at Whitechapel Gallery, my role as Communications Assistant is to develop, implement and evaluate creative and targeted marketing campaigns. My duties also extend to uploading information and images to, updating social media content, and organising AV content. My administrative tasks include but are not limited to maintaining databases through Raiser's Edge, monitoring budgets, raising purchase orders and maintaining financial records.

  • Following the cessation of my voluntary role at waterside contemporary in December 2014, I took on a temporary freelance position as Exhibition Manager. I was charged with overseeing fabrication and installation of all necessary components of the exhibition 'Limits of Responsibility', featuring the work of Ukrainian artist and activist, Nikita Kadan. The duties included managing budgets and commissioning framing, welding, constructing plinths, coordinating communications and liaison with press, contractors and the artist. As a volunteer at waterside contemporary I was responsible for greeting visitors, planning events, updating administrative systems and utilizing relationship databases such as FileMaker Pro Advanced. One notable experience involved supervising a project during Frieze week, 2014, '21st Century Carpet Sale. A Legendary Collection' by the artist Oreet Ashery.

  • As Manager of Quest Gallery, an art gallery in Bath. I was responsible for the day-to-day running of the gallery, including sales, administration, website maintenance, social media management, designing marketing/publicity material, and financial handling among other responsibilities. My close working relationship with the gallery owner enabled me to organise a series of monthly events, which included private views, interviews/talks and chamber music concerts.
