About me
I am a film director and producer, having made music videos for artists Elena Tonra (Ex:Re/Daughter), Night Works and Holy Moly & The Crackers, as well as Abbey Road Studios, Culture Mile (Barbican, LSO, Museum of London) and the concert series Listenpony. In 2019, I produced a documentary about the youth climate change movement (‘THIS IS AN EMERGENCY, WE ARE THE RESCUERS’) for Dazed digital. In 2021/2022, I worked with artist-duo Cooking Sections for their Turner Prize video installation. As an artist and filmmaker, I create films to explore different realities and bodies, and to transport viewers to new mental spaces. My work stems from and has been inspired by subjects spanning human perception, existential anxiety, dreams, queer identity and homophobia. I am an alumni of Open School East (2018) and the FLAMIN Fellowship (2019/2020), and was is in residency at Gasworks in 2021. My work has been shown in exhibitions and film festivals in the UK and abroad. Recent screenings and exhibitions include Gasworks, London; Well Projects, Margate; Fragment Gallery, Moscow; B3 Biennal of the moving image, Frankfurt; Swiss Church, London; Turf Projects, Croydon; LIMBO, Margate; Whitstable Biennial, Guest Projects, London. Recent film festivals include Underwire Film Festival, London; KINOSKOP Analogue Festival, Belgrade; Traverse Video, Toulouse; East End Film Festival, London.
