As a recent humanities graduate, I am looking for employment or work experience which will give me new and exciting opportunities and challenges to move on from my education and into a career. Throughout my education, work experience and other projects I have gained a variety of skills and developed myself as an individual; I am a confident speaker, I am able to work to very strict deadlines – both alone and in a team, I am able to make decisions quickly and put them into practice efficiently. My role involves tasks such as taking orders from clients over the phone or through email; keeping track of invoices and payments; and ordering stock from suppliers.

  • My role on the committee for the Edinburgh University Kickboxing Club involved me working closely with a team of people all undertaking different tasks to ensure that the club operated smoothly for the semester. This position required me to organize competitive events, for which I had to be in contact with venue owners, licensing bodies, and event staff - as well as other sports teams. Similarly, I had to work closely with members of my own team to organize promotion for, and transport to various events.
