About me
Antony Copeland is approaching 40 and determined to make up for lost time and become a full-time writer. He has always loved stories and particularly enjoys dystopian science-fiction, dark fantasy and paranormal horror. He's dabbled a little in other genres too and is eager to expand his repertoire and experience still further.

  • The Haunted Story
The Haunted StoryDead letter is my first publication on Kindle. It's a quick read, only 2000 words, but it sets the tone for a series of books that build on the premise and shows how others are affected. Here's the blurb: Death is only the beginning. When the neighbours complain about the smell, the building manager unlocks the apartment to have a look around. What he finds is utterly horrifying. While waiting for the police to arrive, he notices a letter pinned to the gruesome contraption that holds a body
Work history
    Lead Admin
    Full Time
I couldn't find a Facebook that really gave me the guidance and support I needed to become a full-time writer, so I made one (used some of the social marketing tricks I picked up). It's been very successful, and I've gained some valuable insight. I've even learned how NOT to create an anthology.

    Freelance
In addition to various side jobs to pay the bills, I've been working for myself as a writer for the last three years. Prior to this, I felt like I lacked the necessary education and experience. Since deciding to just go for it, I've come a long way and learned a lot. I brought out my first short story on Kindle in October, and there's a lot more coming.

I ended up on the Business and Management track almost by accident. I chased it as a career for a while afterwards out of a sense of obligation, but my heart was never really in it.
