Anya Broido is a London and New York based photographer who works in portraiture, fine art and documentary photography. Her photography focuses on themes of urbanity and night culture. Currently exhibited at the Observatory Gallery in London is work displayed from her two largest bodies of work 'Soho Nights' and 'Hill of Spring'. Soho nights is the culmination of a 4 year project documenting the underbelly of soho nightlife and its changing face and 'Hill of Spring', (the literal translation of Tel Aviv) casts an eye on the older generation of its city, there defiant vitality and diversity in an increasingly youthful city. Her Portraiture work has featured in several sites and publications including British Journal of Photography’s 'Portraits of Britain' and her solo show was recently listed by the world photography organisation as 12 shows not to miss this summer.
