I am responsible for the day-to-day running of Aquascutum's social media content and campaigns across all channels including Twitter, Facebook, Pinterest, Instagram and Google+. Covering the areas of acquisition, engagement, conversion and client / brand building activities. On top of that I create and correlate all of the content for the website.
Alex and Alexa is a children's clothing and toy ecommerce site. Here my main duty was compiling product descriptions that adhered to the brand's tone of voice and uploading them onto Netsuite and Magento. This was weekly rolling contract.
At Atterley Road I was in charge of manning all of the social media platforms. We held weekly content meetings with the fashion editor and creative director in which we brainstorm ideas for the coming week. I then spread those ideas over the social media platforms according to my daily goals. I responded to all comments, tweets and private messages accordingly with the tone of the company. In the months I was at Atterley Road I helped to greatly grown the social media numbers, to much praise from the CEO, founder and fashion editor. I used Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest and Polyvore to promote the brand. I assisted in writing all the copy that goes on the website on a daily basis, be it product descriptions, brand information or copy for features. I uploaded this content onto Magento, our CMS and retail platform. I categorised products for features and liaised daily with the merchandising and fashion production teams. .
