As an enterpreneur I worked in all levels of a small advertising agency, mainly as a Creative Director, Marketing Consultant and a Senior graphic & digital designer, offering my services to major companies and start-ups in Perú for 5 years. To work on my own gave me the opportunity to learn many abilities and apply everything that I previously learned, most importantly develop strengths like perseverance, positivity, emotional intelligence, determination, and self motivation, which has prepared me to take new challenges as a professional in my career.
Working at Rey Corporation as a Senior designer was a great experience, my main responsibilities were to: *Engage with the design and production team to improve results on delivery times; quality control and color matching. *I also introduced a yarn color card, which was used as a Pantone chart to assure our clients will get the best impression of the available colours for production. This due to inconveniences with clients when they request colours that in production we were not able to deliver.
Focus Communications Group is a design and editorial company were my role was to: Design a directory for the fishing industry in Adobe Indesign which I accomplished and introduced successfully in 2008. *Coordination with clients about advertising in the directory. *Retouching of images, taking photographs of special equipment, Coordination with suppliers to be able to print the directory on time for publishing. As a junior graphic designer my responsibilities were related to the design and coordination with clients for approvals, corrections and payments. I also was in charge of administrative duties like sales, coordination with suppliers, and printings. in my career.
*As a marketing student I was involved as a coordinator on several projects due to my leadership skills. Those projects where related to run events, look for sponsors, get media coverage, besides to produce a marketing plan for a new brand of sports clubwear. *On my last semester I took 10 subjects to end my studies half year before; which I accomplish succesfully.
*As a graphic design student I learned several design programs, which made me a versatile designer who can perform in a variety of platforms like editorial design, branding & identity, merchandising, image retouching, digital design, etc. Being a graphic design student gave me the chance to increase my abilities and to polish my eye for detail, as well as all the technical knowledge to produce designs.
