Editor (contractor) of the Danish version of Amazon Prime Video, owner of TOV and terminology across all platforms. In this position I relied heavily on editorial skills gained in my time as literary editor, and also made solid use of my experience as a Localization Specialist at Expedia. The bulk of the work was old fashioned QA and editorial work with translations delivered by vendors, but the frame of it all was highly technological and required me to navigate behind the scenes on everything from web and TV to IOS and Android. Keywords: QA, UI, UX, marketing, B-to-C, B-to-B, legal, tech. Primary tools: ATMS (In-house clone of Trados Studio with in-built TM), Amazon String Translator, in-house project management systems, Microsoft Excel.

Danish Localization Specialist providing translations and QA for all companies under the massive Expedia umbrella, each with their own TOV, terminology, and presence on a variety of digital platforms, all of which had to be learned and mastered under tight deadlines. In this fast- paced and technological environment I was part of a strong group of linguists that made good use of each other, even across different languages, and I truly got to appreciate the power of teamwork and open lines of communication – a stark and refreshing contrast to my previous work as a translator of literature. Keywords: Travel content, marketing, B-to-C, B-to-B, legal, UI, QA, tech, research, teamwork, tight deadlines. Primary tools: Trados Studio, Worldserver (project management, TM), Salesforce (project management), Microsoft Excel.
