I was the main presenter for this Princes trust radio station. I aimed to seek out the newest music artists coming out of Leicester, organising live lounge style slots on the show, vox-pops of people in the city and interviews with some of the people involved in putting Leicester on the map musically. This was a weekly show in which comprised of a feature, industry specialist interview, and an artist live-lounge performance alongside a hand-picked collection of the best Midland's music.

The course taught me discipline within my writing, exercised my skills as a creative. Gave us the opportunity to collaborate and explore our interests. My radio presenting skills were used, as vox-pops and podcasts were a prevalent part of the course and I was able to explore my interests in music throughout. My final-major project followed sober raving in London and the positive effects it can have on the life of a recovering addict. My other piece followed DJ Katie Cooper, Manchester-born Grime DJ that moved to China, a place where Grime music is, whilst still very underground, also up-and-coming. The story follows her journey but also the current state of nightclubs, club-music and underground culture in China.
