About me
Hi, I’m Ashleen. I’ve recently graduated with a First Class Honours in Business and Management and I’m looking to progress my career within the marketing industry. I am the founder of GradGirlMarkeketing, a popular marketing blog on Instagram and LinkedIn, as well as a closed Facebook group. Alongside my blog, I work as a Marketing Executive intern at SmashBear Publishing as well as Beauty Columnist for the Grad Bible.     I am currently completing a marketing internship with SmashBear Publishing as a Marketing Executive and Content Creator.     In July 2020, I decided to take on a new adventure by starting my own Instagram blog after being inspired to step into the marketing industry to showcase my work as well as sharing my knowledge with others. I am the founder and owner of popular blog Grad Girl Marketing, an online community spread across 3 platforms, aimed to inform and inspire students and recent graduates as well as female professionals within marketing to achieve their career dreams through sharing relevant career and marketing resources. -Content creation and social media management: since the launch, I have accumulated a collective following of 5000 individuals across Instagram, a closed Facebook group and a Linkedin business page. -Scheduling, planning and executing on trend content to drive interest and awareness of the marketing industry. -Weekly Fempire series: providing career advice from female professionals to young and budding marketers. This series has previously featured female professionals that have worked at the likes of companies such as Harper Collins, Cadbury and Coca Cola, amongst others. -Highly skilled in content creation, graphic design, social media management, scheduling, content writing, community management and building, proofreading and editing.
