My dissertation (2020) titled "Digestible Queer Culture; LGBT+ films in mainstream media," was awarded a 1st in my Bachelors degree. This research was selected by the University of Portsmouth to be funded and submitted to the British Conference of Undergraduate Research. I was selected and presented my research- including my own coined term 'digestible queer culture' to the conference attendees via zoom.

I have worked with the outlet team for nearly 2 years where I have worked through a range of campaign events such as the community trade plastic event, time to care and most recently the self love campaign. Through these I have attended training pods and read information packs on the events to combine with my product knowledge to share and involve customers. I have taken part in pushing charity events such as End Youth Homelessness and The Australian Bushfires and have been a part of new product launches such as the new CBD range where I tried the products and promoted them to customers using training and social media platforms until the range reached our outlets. Working through Christmas, Black Friday and many other seasonal events I have been a part of many different launches- from new ranges, to packaging redesigning. This paired with a customer facing role has given me the insight into what makes launches successful and how to improve existing products. In this I have also used my degree when designing new displays and creating illustrations, animations and banners for the instagram page.
I am also social media manager for our store tiktok page, running promotion campaigns and interactive content alongside the instagram page and main role.

- Portsmouth, United Kingdom
I studied BA Illustration at the University of Portsmouth. In my time at university I have worked a part time job alongside my degree and worked on many extra curricular roles. I have been a part of exhibitions, research projects and conferences as well as the LGBT Society committee and student volunteer at Portsmouth Pride for the University stall. These roles outside my degree have also given me the opportunity to work as an illustrator on professional projects as well as given me experience within the arts sector.
I also achieved a 1st for my Dissertation on Queer Film History which was selected to be a part of the British Conference of Undergraduate Research Leeds.
