Menier Gallery, London, UK - Co-Curator for ‘SHIFT!’ (Feb - June 2015) Acted as co-curator for the group curated exhibtion SHIFT! which worked with over 40 different artists. The role included designing the overall layout and theme of the exhibition for the PV, installation of the multiple works in the display and acting as artist liaison for the entirety of the exhibition.
Wimbledon Space, London, UK - Co-Curator for ‘Jocelyn Herbert and Samuel Beckett from the Jocelyn Herbert Archive at the National Theatre’ (Feb - April 2015) Acted as co-curator for the group curated show which worked with archival material of set and costume designer Jocelyn Herbert. Worked directly with and under the supervision of the National Theatre archive as well as Wimbledon and CHELSEA space. Role included selecting a piece from the archive which represented an individually formed concept, writing a piece for the publication, installation of multiple works for display and acting as part of the group which decided the format and layout of the entire exhibition.
CHELSEA space, London, UK - Assistant Curator for ‘In Peril on the Sea’ Curated by Clive Phillipot (Dec 2014 - Feb 2015) Acted as a core member of the assistant curatorial team at CHELSEA space for the show ‘In Peril on the Sea’ which was curated by Clive Phillipot. Tasks included working directly under Clive and the team of CHELSEA space during the preparation of the show, installing the exhibition, and creating a graphic designed decal piece for the show.
Worked directly under the Careers Services Director of Sotheby’s Institute of Art as Careers Administrator which entailed assisting with student queries, scheduling, website maintenance, daily job postings, proofreading student CVs, liaising with galleries and art houses, dealing with external relations and job fairs, and assisting with Sotheby’s events.
Main Gallery, CSUN Art Galleries, Northridge, CA - Gallery Assistant (Oct 2010 - August 2013) Gallery assistant duties such as, fundraising, visual display of exhibitions, assisting with external relations via email and personal correspondence, budget managing, press, website and social media maintenance, correspondence with the artists, assisting the curators and director, front house relations upon opening and closing of the exhibitions.
Boston Court Theatre, Pasadena, CA - Front House Manager (March 2009 - May 2012) Administrative and managerial duties such as website update and management, using database filing systems, bookkeeping, finance management, daily budget balancing, social media and online platform management, appointment and travel booking, scheduling, managing ticket sales and orders, actor bookings and assistance, client satisfaction via email, phone, and in person, meetings with partners, and general assistance to directors.
