About me
I am an art director and graphic designer, backed up by BA Illustration and Visual Communication studies and experience working in advertising. From my portfolio you will be able to see that my studies have greatly influenced my approach towards design, but even despite that, work on pure graphic briefs with communication ranging from corporately serious to youthfully cheeky. Have a broad experience in delivering brand communication campaigns for healthcare, luxury, real estate and consumer goods. Challenges excite me and I love trying on the audiences shoes and walking several miles before constructing strategies how to talk with them and draw them in. I have am passionate about visual communications and do agree that content is key. Visual content, that is.
Projects
  • DNB Banking made simple
DNB Banking made simpleDNB was a bank like every other - the paperwork was complicated and communications were corporate. They were beginning to loose out on everyday customers turning to more approachable banks., Until DDB convinced them to rebrand their offering and allowed me to lead on the account. We created a whole new look and feel for everyday operations, developing bespoke characters for the banks customers. We revamped their print materials and advertising to communicate simplicity and attract customers from a young age.
  • Calendar illustrations
Calendar illustrationsThese are illustrations commissioned by ORLEN Lietuva for their 2014 calendar. ORLEN is modern technologically advanced oil company with it's priorities straight: community always comes first. Their usual corporate gift to say 'thanks' to the communities they support used to be a traditional calendar full of corporate shots of their office. This year the client wanted to get personal, move away from their cold corporate look and...asked for 12 bespoke illustrations to be turned around in 72 hours! We got there in the end, printed on premium card stock it was a lovely gift for everyone that year.
  • OUT branding
OUT brandingParallel to my day job, I am also the co-founder and Creative Director at OUT Lithuania – an organisation that unites creative Lithuanians abroad, provides a social platform for them to showcase their work and encourages collaboration and exposure. Our aim was to become a "blank canvas" where the brightest spotlight would be shine on the people behind great creative and innovative ideas, hoping to break through the stereotypes that surround immigrants. The logo symbolises a box where breakthrough is happening with the brand's name "OUT" having one foot out the door - just like our subjects are creating "outside the box" and also outside their home and comfort zone. It is a primed canvas ready to be stained with colour, it is a place where ideas are born.
