The AKA Student Ambassador initiative helped to develop a loyal and dedicated team of ambassadors who, in turn, spread positive word-of-mouth, distribute marketing collateral, secure coverage with their university media, and provide access to key student areas including libraries, societies, halls of residence and relevant departments at their own universities, all the while learning more about AKA and its productions.
Successfully won a student election to become Senior Editor for the official magazine of Goldsmiths UOL. This was a voluntary role, whereby I demonstrated my public relations, communications, advertising and editorial skills. My roles in carrying out this position included: • Copywriting and proofreading all articles and overseeing the development, design and finance of the magazines. • Appointing, managing and delegating tasks to a team of sub-editors, photographers and designers.
