Prince Gyasi, a 28-year-old Ghanaian visual artist, is also the first African to receive the prestigious commission, which he has taken into bold new territory, he told CNN in an interview ahead of its launch.

I am part of the CNNi Sponsored Features team. We produce featured content across TV, digital and social platforms. My role includes researching and planning stories, as well as writing scripts, digital articles, conducting interviews and producing half hour television shows.
I set up and managed CNN's FAST Channel. This means I uploaded highlights of CNN's tv content onto our digital site, through our Content Management System software and this is for CNN's Free Ad Supported Streaming Television (FAST channel).
